We are looking for the following personal criteria:

·         A committed Christian with an authentic life of faith, and is active in a local church.

·         An excellent communicator to both students and parents.

·         A person that welcomes the opportunity to disciple students.

·         Someone with a spirit of cooperativeness, commitment, dedication, empathy, and integrity.

Education, Experience, and General Criteria:

·         Bachelor’s Degree- preferred in education.

·          Teaching experience preferred.

·         If no teaching experience, experience working with youth in an educational setting.

·         The ability to follow and implement lesson plans.

·         The ability to manage a classroom of students.

·         The desire to abide and follow all policies, rules, and procedures of WDCS.

Physical Requirements:

·         Standing and walking for a sustained period of time - monitoring students in the classroom, building & playgrounds.

·         Stooping, crouching, bending, kneeling, and light lifting-the ability to assist small children.
